Birds in Skirts: 3 The White Picotee Peacock

Birds in Skirts is a unique collection inspired by the pair of topiary birds at Hidcote and created especially for my exhibition Inspired to Stitch. These are customised one-off *gliclee prints, individually hand stitched with treasured vintage fabrics from my own studio

This fabric is hand made tape-lace  traditionally made with the picotee looped stithces when hand stitching the flowers together,  topped with crochet braidand herringbone stitched into position

This A4 print is sold mounted and framed as seen; but can be purchased and delivered unframed .

*Giclee is a high definition pigment based print that produces excellent colour reproduction and longevity. The paper is a 320gm acid free and made entirely of cotton fibres. Giclee prints are guaranteed not to fade or discolour for over 100 years.
