Annotated Dahlias

This *gliclee print is of a hand stitched and painted silk panel of flowers. The bunch was given to me by a friend who had brought them from her own garden one August evening, I placed them on the table as we sat together watching the sunset over the estuary from our garden. 

And most of the flowers strangely were found to have specific meanings found in many books of ‘Florigraphy ‘ or the ‘Language of Flowers’.
