Auricula Theatres were made to protect the early sping primulas for rain, the white coating on some of the flowers will wash off the rare grey colouring of the most unusual flowers. Here the 3 dimensional flowers have been stitched in silk by hand and the curtains and pelmet are made from a vintage Spitalfiled's silk brocade, that includes purple auriculas.
